Welcome

Welcome to my blog site. Writing has been a passion of mine since I was in high school, at a time when the world was young.

Since my retirement from a 35 year career in the social work profession I have devoted more time to writing. This has taken shape in different ways.

Two major writing projects have been two books. The first one called " Golden Apples" was published in 2013. It contains encouraging messages that lift the human spirit.
My second book Bill on Life , One Man's Journey was published in 2015. It has been well received. Copies are still available , either from myself or at Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy, and Super Thrifty Pharmacy.

Currently working on another book, which will be released later this year. I have invited contributing writers to be part of this book, as they have intriguing stories to tell about their lives.

I am no longer writing HARTSTRINGS for the Dauphin Herald, since they decided to discontinue my submissions
Periodically some of those columns from past years, and still of current interest , will appear in this blog site.

Since photography has also been a lifelong passion of mine, you will find some of my photographs scattered throughout the blog site.
